The South West offers plenty of family fun and seasonal activities for little ones to enjoy during the Easter holidays, and we’re on hand to highlight the very best of all that’s out there! Take a look at our guide to the best Easter events happening in Devon and Cornwall.
Crealy Theme Park
Based on Sidmouth Road in Exeter, Crealy Theme Park and Resort is an award-winning family theme park that offers over 60 rides and attractions, as well as live entertainment, plenty of animals, and various cafes and restaurants. Best of all, it’s suitable for all the family from toddlers to grandparents.
Running from 3rd to 19th April, they have lots of Easter activities going on to celebrate, including the launch of their new ride! Get ready to fall into Easter on their brand new Pirates’ Plummet, the tallest drop tower in the South West! You can also immerse the little ones in the colour, energy, and excitement of K-Pop with their K-Pop Party at Crealy Arena, a tribute concert with the biggest hits for fans of all ages!
National Trust Easter Trails
The National Trust’s Easter trails return across both counties, offering outdoor adventures at historic houses, gardens. and coastal estates. Families can follow themed trails, take part in nature‑inspired activities, and collect a chocolate reward at the end. Popular locations include Killerton and Knightshayes in Devon, and Lanhydrock and Trelissick in Cornwall.

Easter at the Eden Project
The Eden Project always goes big for Easter, combining seasonal trails with creative, nature‑inspired activities. Families can explore interactive Easter adventures alongside Eden’s iconic Biomes and spring gardens, an ideal option for an all‑weather day out in Cornwall.
This year, the Eden Project are encouraging young explorers to celebrate Easter with their immersive dragon egg trail, craft workshops, and an abundance of family activities.
Woodlands Theme Park: Easter Bunny’s Grotto
Found in the heart of the South Hams in Devon, Woodlands is the biggest theme park in Devon and offers more than a day’s worth of fun and adventure for all the family! As well as boasting the biggest indoor play area in the South West, Woodlands also offers memorable water rapid rides and other theme park rides, a zoo full of friendly animals, a falconry centre, a toddlers village and so much more.
To celebrate Easter, Woodlands are hosting their very own Easter Bunny Grotto, offering little ones the chance to venture through a rabbit warren made up of Easter-themed rooms while they discover the secrets of Easter. Visitors can enjoy a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny and collect their special gift, plus take a photo together!
Catch an Easter Show at the Minack Theatre
Experience the magic of al fresco theatre at the Minack Theatre this Easter. Set in a stunning cliff’s edge amphitheatre, you can enjoy a variety of performances. This Easter you can catch Giants, a “riotous reimagining of the legend of Cormoran, the terrible giant of St Michael’s Mount, packed full of songs and fun.” The Minack Theatre is a must-visit, whether you're exploring Land’s End, watching a show, or admiring the breath-taking cliff-top gardens at this spectacular venue.
