Meet the Team: Kirsty Dinham - Sales Consultant
Today we’re catching up with Tangelo Plymouth’s Sales Consultant Kirsty Dinham. Find out what a typical day looks like for her, her dream car, and her favourite part of the job!
What’s your role at Tangelo Used Cars and what does a typical day look like for you?
I’m a Sales Consultant here. A typical day at work involves taking incoming leads, loving the customers up on the car and hopefully selling it!
How long have you worked in the motor industry? What did you do before?
I’ve been in the trade for three years now. I originally started as a Customer Loyalty Specialist at Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth before moving into Sales, until June of this year when I came over to Tangelo. Before joining the motor industry, I was a swimming teacher, and a children’s birthday party host!
Most memorable day at work you’ve ever had?
Every day is memorable for one reason or another!
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Handovers are great but also getting to know your customers and building genuine relationships with them!
What do you like doing in your spare time?
Family time! I have a six-year-old, so I try and spend as much time with him as I can.
What’s your favourite driving song?
I don’t have a set driving song, how I’m feeling that day will dictate what sort of music I listen to, however you can’t go wrong with any of the Pop Girlies like Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter.
What’s your dream car? Is there anything at the top of your wish list?
An old school Beetle!
What’s your guilty pleasure playlist or TV show or film?
I’ve been rewatching Emily In Paris recently but I don’t watch a lot of traditional TV, I tend to watch a lot of series on YouTube like Dark History by Bailey Sarian.
Have you got a hidden talent or party trick?
I used to be a competitive swimmer but quit due to a shoulder injury ☹
If you could have dinner with any three people (dead or alive), who would you choose?
I find this question so tricky! There are so many people who I’d invite!
Where would be your dream holiday destination?
I’ve been to Orlando several times but there’s always something new there, I’d love to go back soon!
