About Tangelo
Do Tangelo sell news cars?
We only sell used cars that meet the Tangelo Standard, although many of our cars are ‘young’, or "Pre-loved", as some might say.
Can I test drive the car?
Of course. All of our customers are welcome to book an appointment at our Exeter Customer Hub or Plymouth Customer Hub to test drive their chosen car.
Can I negotiate the price of a car?
We want our customers to have a haggle-free experience where they get a fair deal. We carefully set our prices to ensure they’re our best prices and competitive within the market.
Car Care FAQs
Do I get free warranty and breakdown cover?
Every eligible used car comes with a free AUTOGUARD Warranties 12 month warranty. Should you want to be covered for longer, our extended warranty is there to protect you from unexpected costs, ensuring a wide range of components and systems are protected. Find out what warranty levels are available to find out which one is right for you.
Can I buy car care add-ons with my car?
We provide a selection of addtitional protection, including AUTOGUARD Extended Warranty, Paint and Fabric Protection and asset protection, to avoid financial shortfall if your vehicle were ever to be written off. You can purchase insurance and protection the extended warranty up to three months after your purchase, if you change your mind, but the paint and fabric protection is only available at point-of-sale, due to the nature of the product.
Can I include car care add-ons in my finance package?
You can include paint and fabric protection to your finance package, but any extended warranties and insurance products are required to be paid as part of your initial payment, due to FCA regulations.

Where is the Tangelo Service Centre?
We have two Tangelo Service Centres. One is based at our Exeter location: Hennock Road Central, Marsh Barton, Exeter, EX2 8NP; the other is at our Plymouth location: 182 Billacombe Road, Plymouth, PL9 7HE. For information on our opening hours and more, head to our ‘Find Us’ page.
Can I wait on-site while my car is being serviced?
Absolutely! Feel free to make use of our Customer Waiting Area.
Do you offer loan cars?
Based on availability, we can offer a loan car to ensure you’re not stuck without transport if you have somewhere to be while we’re working on your car. We recommend that you book this as far in advance as possible, to avoid any disappoint, especially during peak times in March and September.
Finance FAQs
What finance options are available?
We offer two types of finance: Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or Hire Purchase (HP). Both of our finance options are subject to status.
Can I get finance on any Tangelo car?
Our finance providers will take into account the age of the car when your proposed borrowing time ends, so not every car will be eligible for finance. For a PCP agreement, the car will need to be no older than 10 years at the end of the agreement. For a HP agreement, the car will need to be no older than 12 years at the end of the agreement.
